This week we had a collective scare. One of our own, Shannon, had a crisis in her family that caused us all to stop, pray and send healing thoughts to her and her family. When I read that the test results were good and her darling son Reagan didn't have leukemia tears came to my eyes. I'm tearing up as I write this. I stopped my husband as he was headed to work yesterday morning to tell him the good news and he teared up too.
You never know when something bad can befall you, a loved one, a friend... Be good to one another. Tell your family that you love them. Give a friend in need a hug. You might not be able to be a blessing to the world, but you can start by being a blessing to a single person.
{HUG} :)
ReplyDeleteSo true. We all need this reminder once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief it was to hear that Reagan's test came back fine! It does really make you stop and think, doesn't it? Thanks for the reminder, we can all use a little more kindness in our lives.
ReplyDeleteOh Kyra this is so sweet! Thank you so much for your love and support. I just feel so blessed to have you, the Aussie ;) and all of the other people I have met on here in my life. You are right you just never know. I feel like for some reason we needed a reminder and we got the message loud and clear.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much again! HUGS for you and hubby and we love you both!! XOXO
My goal for the week was to hug my parents. I gave them both a big hug when I picked them up from the airport. It felt nice :) I definitely needed it.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, a real genuine hug is all you need.
